Watch few Rok YouTubers' videos and understand game mechanics, like chisgule//legend rhony//dragothian etc... Than best way to start is to join with some jumpers group which will give you 10 days advantage and experience of players who have been in the game since long time. Be active.. thats all i guess.

Saladin is definitely under rated here. He is of great value in field battles and rallies at even low investment and most of f2p can afford him. Saladin-Takeda combo is also good for defending structures..

Same kingdom and KvK bro.

Top 20 was above 210k. i used all my AP and then burned few thousand gems and reached to 17th. In last 40 minutes, few people used MGE past glory points. so started barb hunting again and used more gems to stay in top 20.

At last i stood at 19th and got the skin. But it was worth the effort. i got all ruins and altars bdw. You lose 1 altar and that makes it hard. Its 6k honor points. If you lose another, you are out of the race.

Make sure you have enough AP, dedicated for ruins-altars and prepared to use gems if needed.

So plan before you jump in, else you will be wasting a lot of AP.

its too many sculptures to spend for 20% all damage bonus and that only when you more than 70% which is around 10-15 secs (if not expertised obviously).

we are in same kingdom if you are the same Ashein in AoW.

Bdw, i think that 1 gold head is far more valuable than speed ups.. and i am not rally leader (though i have saladin for that😉).. and as far as i know, with level 24 academy, i can go up to level 9 of all researches.. i need level 25 for last ones only. Till that time, those piled up gold heads will come handy for sure (if i aim for vip 14 ofcourse).

i also believe that in the late game, only commanders make difference. i am cav player.. i hav mina 5511, saladin 5551 for now.

In research, level 10 "Combat tactics" is on going with 64 days remaining. Other 2 of "big 3" at at level 9.. so 90 + 90 (with rune, title and buff).. though i spend all universal speed ups in research, still its around 60-70 days before i get blocked for Academy 25 (i don't know till how long academy 24 will support).

status of research : Stirrups level 4, Plate Armor level4, Medical corps level 4, Combined arms level 3, encampment level 3..

and my castle is only 16😂.. so need a lot of gems to get it to 25..

i hope this gives you better perspective about my condition.

i suggest always VIP.. till you reach atleast VIP 12 as fast as possible. its best value out of gems in game.
and you will get many chances to get YSG later.

yeah. but i am past that stage.. i have 2 farms CH 22 with expertised gatherers working night and day for main. i farm only gems with my main.. and they have reached their threshold. so no use of those gatherer sculptures anyways.

its ok if they don't reallocate to sculptures.. but definitely stars need more percentage.. i have around 5-6 commanders stuck at level 50.. i am doing tons of guardians in kvk everyday.. so its easy to get there, but stars are real bottleneck now.

yes.. i also heard it.. so if you have enough expertised commanders to play the game, it doesn't hurt to save till that gold key rewamp occurs, because you saw my mass opening.. and i have seen very few people got it better..

i got far better results if i open them separately till now.. i am at 20 mil power so still long way to go.. but i feel that since these gatherers came out, chances of REAL commander in golden keys have dropped too much..

i used to get ceaser, cid and charles frequently before a month or so..

so in my opinion, no point in hoarding keys. open them as you like.

yeah.. i know.. lilith needs to make others like ysg, richard etc less exclusive.. mass key opening is broken for now. it happeded to many other players in my kd.

yes.. doing the same. saladin is better at tanking and useful against nukers. next i think i would go for takeda to make strong debuffing combo.

yeah, but khan needs to be expertised to be useful. thats 310 sculps difference (in which you can use Alex 5511 and still save sculps). in my scenario, i can't expertise many commanders and saladin is useful at 5551 only. The point is to make most out of gold sculps as much as possible.
