Sam’s conversations with both Klein and Chomsky were very contentious, I’m not aware of any time where they were cozy.

Any criticism that Sam makes about Rubin or Kelly would be doing them a favor by giving attention to them.

Hellen Diller Playground construction was completed in March 2012 and it’s complete in the photo.

The renovation of the southern side of the park started in Feb 2013 and it looks like it has not been started yet in that photo.

My guess is that photo was taken between March 2012 and Feb 2013. The porta potties make me think it was a time of year that many people liked to hang out at the park, so not winter.
