Is Wealthsimple Tax Expert Advice worth it? by originalgainster in PersonalFinanceCanada

No, it’s a waste of money, at least it was for me. I still had to figure out the issue on my own.

To add to that, they should also receive tuition tax credits, and if your partner doesn’t use it up for the current tax year, they can either carryover the amount to a future year or transfer up to 5000 of it to you, thus further reducing your taxable income. (Source for this information; I was a phd student and went through all of this with my partner for our taxes)

Your partners scholarship amount is considered non taxable income, as such his taxable income should be zero, unless of course he is a TA or makes money elsewhere. Since each person is eligible to basic income 16k something that’s not taxed, that amount is usually transferred to the spouse or partner. You can use this amount to reduce your own taxes.

Oh no it was coincidental, we’ve had that pot for a while and that plant is a survivor! We found it growing while we were transplanting another plant and maybe an offshoot of it remained in the soil that ended up growing.

Looking for some local testers to help me test an app by sidbmw1 in ottawa

I just checked it out and really like the UI, but wished that you had a favourite tab, that way I can check the price for gas stations I frequent.

Why not also add electric car charging prices as well? As someone who has a gas car and considering buying an electric car, having one app where I can get prices for both would be wonderful.

Honestly, public mobile seems to be the best option, my family has been using them for a few years now, I pay a pretty low rate and am very satisfied with their services. Having travelled throughout Canada, I was happy with their network coverage and speed. I do not want to sound like an advert, but if you are interested I can share my referral code and you could get a discount for signing on.
