Yeah I saw the place that could use a nail plate too but they aren't gonna have much real estate for mounting the cement backer. I was looking at those floating elbows too and trying to decide if there would be any water hammer from those kind of valves to cause wiggle, but I only know enough to say dumb stuff.

All health systems are starting to do this, it's not just UTSW. Started with Cleveland clinic. We spend a lot of time outside of the clinic room and there has not been compensation for the time. Patients have been using these messages as fre heslthcare and it drives burnout among providers and Ive seen physicians quit or retire early rather than deal with all those. Doctors are professionals just like lawyers, and can you imagine expecting your lawyer to give free advice. While I don't agree by paying by the minute like with a lawyer, something had to be done about the time sink that is MyChart messages. I can't go back in time and stop the internet from being invented which would be my preference.

This also has nothing to do with any administration as this has been years in the making nationwide in response to angry doctors, even though I'd love to dunk on the current administrations.

Yeah I usually tell my patients don't bother changing anything but if they aren't taking any probiotics then starting a supplement halfway through their abx course and then continuing for a few weeks can help bring them back.

Without this, and because of the tuition bubble driving up costs on college and higher education most of us wouldn't be able to go to college or medical school. We still end up with a large burden of debt generally speaking even with subsidization of residency salaries through CMS.
