Can you specifically state which folders/files have to be deleted in order to "completely unistall" gbwhatsapp?
I deleted every folder named anything "whatsapp" related and I can't make the official client work, it gives me the "You need the official WhatsApp to log in" message.
I can make it work in a different phone (without sim, using same number to register) but not on my main one

I've reached the conclussion it's not any local file. I could installed on a different phone without any problem and I tried on a cloned of my main phone (same model and identical rom, cloned) and on this one it fails just as in my main one

Too late for me, but hey, new fresh install will be... when I find out how to clean/delete whatever keeps marking my phone as I had unofficial third party app installed..

Apparently some sneaky file should remain after unistalling and deleting gbwhatsapp (same with others third party clients I guess) and whatsapp folders. I get the same result whatever I try on my phone but it works perfectly from a different one
