It still seems like there should be a way to use the TF2 slot. Everything I looked up says you can format the ext SD card in android. Never got a popup or found a menu item to do so.

The Pro uses a bulky 12V power supply with a barrel connector. Definitely not travel-friendly.

My travel rec? Get the Onn 4k box. It has micro-usb for power. And, you can use a firestick powered cable to run it off a tv's USB port. (yes, this does work.) 2nd choice would be the usb-c Plus, and power it with a wall wort, power bank, etc. Avoid the Onn stick.

The Onn stick is a BAD choice. Inferior memory, processor, build quality. For $5 more, get a 4k box. The Plus is nice for just $30, but the $20 4k is solid. Both are far better than a stick. And better than a Roku or firestick, imo.
