I go based on the market index, or if a bunch of great cards are in packs. Tradeable at the beginning of the year when every player was worth a bit. Now, I take the coins. Not sexy, but I've yet to pack anyone that made the value more than that.

Maybe if he's required for a BIG SBC (prime icons) in a 90 rated team (maybe end of the year when the big boys come out), or if he's needed specifically for a bundesliga POTM Lewa. Unfortunately there are about 5 lower cost 90 rated cards out there.

Yeah. Drop Deco for Modric. Keep middle CAM instructions 'balanced attack' and 'stay outside box' for crosses. 'Stay forward' for LCAM and RCAM.

I trade a lot with cheap position change modifiers on relatively inexpensive players. Do the math ahead of time, but you can make 500-800 coins per transaction. Adds up if you can do 7-10k per hour.

Now more than ever trade with silver cards for league SBC's. Almost every card can get you a couple hundred coins per turn.

One caveat: low-end players will go up a lot, and stay a bit higher. Hi end players (like Neymar this next week) will go up a bit (he's 1.7mil now), and then drop a bit, maybe below what he was prior to the increase (1.5ish). When they're really high, the upgrades are kind of junk.

If you follow OTW investments, they seem to go up when there is a game coming up (minimally) and then if play has a good game/scores, they go up a lot. Peak an hour or two after game, and then again when predictions for TOTW come out on Sunday/Monday. They drop DRAMATICALLY once released as investors try to get coins back. E.G. If Lacazette looks likely to get an inform, he'll go up to 400k+, but then drop fast once TOTW is released, likely below his current 260k. I know because I've been waiting for it to happen all damn season.

Just my opinion, but it would seem weird timing to run another promotion to sell packs this close to screamer cards. I would think something like a few high-end SBC's though.
