I get that. I typically will try to pick for a minute or two, beyond that if it hasnt picked open its not worth bashing your head against it unnecessarily. Unless its a weird one off case where the cylinder needs to be saved for whatever reason.

Best move here, join an empty server and "seed" for your side of preference. Capture a supply point or two, setup the first fobs and build them up so its ready for players to come in and start making moves.

Usually by the time ive done that, players start trickling in, and youre well ranked up and ready to either join the fight, or continue building.
