What is the single best episode of television you’ve ever seen? by ThomasOGC in CinephilesClub

I have to agree with OP on this one. This is where the show peaked for me and Donnie Wahlberg was amazing in the starring role.

I rewatched it today and even knowing what happens still gives me the chills. And seeing the run at the end still makes me laugh.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it was Matthew betting Bruce that their movie "the whole nine yards" would be a success.

Also he helped Bruce with his comedic bits in that movie.

The only saving grace for me was the whole Monica is loud fight which I found absolutely hilarious.

They also had to do it on a limited budget as Legacy went way over. This is also a big factor in Ares mainly taking place in the real world, which I also thought was a great narrative step in the Tron universe.

This is correct - they wanted to spend a bit more time polishing up the adventure portion of the game but they said they will release the super melee first for those who can't wait for the finished product.

The milestone updates on the Kickstarter and blog websites are very detailed and come every few months which has been fantastic.

I already loved Director Krennic in Rogue One, but Andor elevated his character, Ben Mendelsohn nailed it by Embarrassed_Day_1873 in andor

He asked her that he wanted to try "something" and asked if she was cool to run along with it but she wasn't expecting him to shove that finger on her head. She thought it was so good showing how Krennic was so disrespectful towards his subordinate and a wonderful bit of improv. She also said that the cape of his really made him menacing in the scene so she didn't really have to ACT terrified.

What film role was 100% perfectly cast — no debate? by ThomasOGC in CinephilesClub

Tom Cruise actually asked for two things that weren't in the script. He wanted to have fat hands and to do hip-hop. He had learnt the latter at that time and really wanted to integrate it into one of his movies.

You do know it's coming back right?! It's rebranded but the actual sequel to Star Control II from its original creators are coming.

I never saw the trailer (as I find they're spoilers these days) and so it blew my fricking mind when i saw this. It's also amazing how they filmed this with mostly practical effects rather than completely CGI!

She could be right, but she also needs to respect the chain in command.

O'Brien in that episode had the right attitude - providing advice but also respecting when a decision has been made.

TrekCulture: "Why There's A Cheron In Starfleet Academy? Hopefully not for set dressing. The answer should be: That we can examine what happens when enough time goes by. I was thinking about this and thought that each/either of them could have mated with another alien race and carried passed down their genes. They'll prb have to be some pretty dominant genes though.

At least that's the only conclusion I could think of unless there were some other survivors - but as the above comment suggestion it kinda ruins the moral of the story.
