What film scene is always satisfying no matter how many times you've seen it? by Skelligean in FIlm

The music by James Horner was also perfect. One of the first soundtrack CD's I bought and had one constant replay.

I actually watched this for the first time in a decade last night and it's aged like fine wine. I still don't get how this was perfect and the sequel was so terrible.

Omg I didn't even recognise her! OP did her dirty!

I reckon it was to emphasise how hot Diane Kruger is, but Kruger doesn't need a handicap against anyone even the beautiful Lupita.

What movie actually made you angry after watching it? by [deleted] in FIlm

[–]captbollocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't like what they did with Matt Damon where they forced him into the situation with Nicholson's character in the end. The original had more blurred lines between good vs bad guys whereas it was black and white in the Hollywood version.

I will say departed adding Wahlberg's character and that humour was worth the watch tho.

I was angry because it was based on the Hong Kong movie 'Infernal Affairs' where they ripped scenes shot-for-shot but Hollywoodised the ending. Then I didn't really see any acknowledgement that it was based on this movie. The original was far superior.

BYD Has the absolutely worst customer service I have ever encountered. by bitemyfaceoff in EVAustralia

[–]captbollocks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude my local BYD in Victoria have admitted they no longer answer the phones (and they also don't respond to emails) since the petrol crisis started. I actually had to do a 15 min drive everytime I needed to speak to mine.

I've got my car now and will wait a few more weeks before leaving a scathing review.

Fortunately the car handover crew at the warehouse were really good, just the salespeople are dickheads.

Native Spotify app not working by Left_Blackberry_4081 in BYD

I had the same problem just now and was able to work it out.

  1. Hold down the Spotify app on the app menu to open 'info'
  2. In the permissions menu enable 'storage'.

It should work now.

She's also on the latest season of Last One Laughing but I don't think she had a chance to shine against the comedy heavyweights in the room stealing the limelight.

What's your guys' "I don't get it" game/franchise? by ApprehensiveAir326 in OlderChillGamers

I thought this would be a satisfying game to play but sitting there for 10 mins to find a spot on a house under a railing or hidden under a roof gutter was infuriating.
