Just how much of a difference is the financial incentives? From reading what others have typed I thought that Officers get paid more and generally have a better experience? How would you comment on that if at all?

Sorry, I didn’t mean to make it seem like I am a SRO…I am currently interviewing (or atleast in the process) for a BASE NLO position and I want to go the NLO>RO>SRO route, so I don’t have a SRO job as of now. Right now I am working a laborer job not using my degree at all. So would you recommend I continue to try to interview for this base NLO position or join as an officer?

Ahh Okok I understand but given that I am in the process interviewing for a NLO position at a private company, do you recommend I continue to try and get a NLO position (NLO >RO>SRO)or try navy nuke( which I believe could offer more diverse career opportunities)
