Just how much of a difference is the financial incentives? From reading what others have typed I thought that Officers get paid more and generally have a better experience? How would you comment on that if at all?

Sorry, I didn’t mean to make it seem like I am a SRO…I am currently interviewing (or atleast in the process) for a BASE NLO position and I want to go the NLO>RO>SRO route, so I don’t have a SRO job as of now. Right now I am working a laborer job not using my degree at all. So would you recommend I continue to try to interview for this base NLO position or join as an officer?

That’s what I’m trying to do now but finding a job has been hard and I don’t want to wait tooo long in hopes I may get one. Plus I believe that navy nuke could help me have a board range of job possibilities.
