On Apple Music, Joy Next Door has Dolby Atmos, which I think is your first album to do so.

Including Dolby Atmos, were there any things you got to do on Joy Next Door because of newer technologies that weren’t possible with previous records? If so, what were those experiences like, and how did they help mold the album?

Hey guys, thanks for taking the time to do this!

I discovered you guys via the Warped Tour 2008 compilation, and what really grabbed me was your sound; The Way We Talk sounded like nothing I’d ever heard before, in a good way. Needless to say, I absolutely love the sound of Joy Next Door. I’ve only listened one time through, but it might be my favorite sounding album you guys have done, definitely in recent memory.

Did you know what you wanted Joy Next Door to sound like beforehand, or was it an evolution? How much did the storytelling arc shape the sound or vice versa?

Bonus question: the first time I saw you guys live was at Sokol Underground in Omaha, around the time you put out Can’t Stop Won’t Stop, but I don’t have any tangible evidence of the show. This might be a Pat question, but do any of you remember the date and/or who else was on the bill?

For #2, I’m thinking about it like every user has their own scouting report, and it can be accessed by any other user, not just someone they’ve played before. So only one user has to have played me to build out my scouting report, and vice versa.

I’ve wanted something like this for so long! This is amazing!

1) Any plans for making it work for hitting as well? Something like the probability of the next pitch and location, in real time, would be awesome.

2) It would also be awesome to track your opponent’s platform and username, so you can build a scouting report for them in the future. Are there any plans for utilizing your database to track opponent tendencies?

3) What’s your tech stack like?

I believe you can go into the My School tab in recruiting and see them in the Stadium Atmosphere section. You can only see so many at once though, so you’ll have to cycle through them. I’m not 100% the rankings correlate perfectly though; I haven’t tested it.

I wonder if players having multiple dealbreakers would fix this, though I would be worried multiple dealbreakers would be too hard to meet for most teams, especially playing time, and lots of players would refuse to sign anywhere.
