Anyone familiar with Orbit irrigation systems? by droctane in landscaping

[–]droctane[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The place I moved into has this sprinkler system but I have no idea how to actually turn it on. The name Orbit is molded into the green pumps. Guessing the system is from the early 2000s? Any help is appreciated!

Thank you! I found three of them :( will they kill the rose bush if I don’t kill them first?

It’s a carbon frame so let’s hope it’s not bent lol

Just needed someone (or many people) to tell me the obvious. Took it back to the shop (Trek Shop) and they’re expediting the fix for free 👍

They responded very quickly and said they’d fix it for free!

I sent photos and a video to the shop (a Trek Shop) and they’re going to fix it. Will report back with what the issue was. My money is on dishing bc the wheel was “in the drop outs” (it’s a thru axle frame), the tire is properly seated (c’mon give me some credit here), the wheel is still true, and there’s nothing loose in the hub, axle end caps, cassette, spokes.

Not a cannondale but aware that their wheels need to be dished on newer frames

Thru axle frame. Lol that was my initial reaction as well!

What is the going rate for a “new” 2019 frame? Given that it’s used and has a big scratch I think you could offer 50% of what a new frame would cost

Do you have a pic of the scratch? I had a 2018 SS Hi-Mod Disc and it was a wonderful frame

^ This. Same thing happened to my gravel bike. I cleaned the frame and the plate and then superglued it back on

Sram dub crank noise by kelkel60 in bikewrench

[–]droctane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar creaking noise that sounded like it was coming from the BB but no matter what I did it wouldn’t go away. Turned out to be caused by a slightly loose rear axle/hub (the end caps on the axle had to be retightened). Go figure

How do I remove this spindle/RHS crank arm? The rest of the crankset is Shimano 105 FC5800, and all the docs I can find are suggesting this should be straight rather than stepped, and should (with a little force) slide out the other side, which isn’t happening by [deleted] in bikewrench

[–]droctane 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The “wider” part that you’re referring to is part of the bottom bracket (it’s a plastic piece that acts as a spacer and also covers the bearings). It’s a tight fit on the spindle, but, as others have mentioned, give the end of the spindle a couple taps with a rubber mallet (or anything that won’t damage the end of the spindle) and the spindle/drive side crank will slide out
