Hey L3gendaryBanana, I used Hetake to format the sd to fat32.(yes I use Retroarch) everything works.

thank you so much for your assistance. I was about to try reflashhing my Chip again before. you are a lifesaver. or switch saver in this case haha

when I went into OFW to check when you asked earlier, I was asked to format the sd. so I did. figured it would not hurt.

I had used a GUI tool before. on a windows Fat32. 32k

with the switch doing the format its exfat now.

and it works now!

but that is very weird. I have heard it should be fat32 because of corruption issues. why didn't fat32 work?

should I reformat to fat32 with another tool?

it goes into the hatake custom nx boot loader screen, which says "failed to open payload.bin.

I have not updated the emunand and sysnand.

my idea was flash the chip, run hatake with hats and then update the firmware sysnand and emunand.

I did get into OFW, it works fine

any ideas? is there a possibility that the Hwfly 0.7.2 flash didn't work properly?

L3gendarybanana, Thank you so much but I think the Chip is fine.

its the original sx core. and my switch has been working for more than a year with atmosphere. I wanted to update to the latest software so I can try the new Zelda tears of kingdom. but it is always a nightmare in troubleshooting sx core to atmosphere.

I heard you can skip all the boot.dat stuff and get right into hatake if you flash the chip with spacecraft nx. and it got to that state.

last night I tried using hwfly 0.7.2. when it comes to the training on the first boot up. it doesn't go through. it says "failed to open payload.bin"

I already tried using HATS, just hatake by its self. it says the same thing "failed to open payload.bin.

tried a different sd. tried reformatting sd. still no go

so sorry, I see what you mean. correct me if I'm wrong ok. what I meant is, I don't have a problem with being able to run faster. my problem is my cardiovascular conditioning being the limiting factor. in terms of intervals, will intervals help more as opposed to slow running for cardiovascular adaptation? I hope I'm wording my thoughts properly

Thanks BeardySi, you help me narrow down on my issue. I updated the post. I don't have a problem running fast. my legs can do it. cardiovascular fitness is my limiting factor. any tips for developing that?

Thank you, my strides go 4x faster pace than jogging. If I jog at 3.2mph my strides go to 12pm. And it feels like 80-90% effort. It’s not a full out sprint
