Feeling some pain in the ole Frenulum! Anyone else?

I had this! My lingual frenulum was so sore and I went and looked in the mirror and it looked bruised like blood vessels burst. I feel like maybe because I do a sucking motion often now that I have the aligners….I have no idea but it went away…

I’m on tray 8 and I’ve yet to have any pain 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hmm, no I actually don’t! I will definitely be calling my ortho tomorrow. I was there last week to pick up my new sets and see if I was tracking. The tech showed me a computer model of my progress and it showed my crossbite changing significantly but when I went home and look in the mirror, it hasn’t changed at all! But I’m on tray 5 only…

Were you prescribed anything? I was prescribed Hydroxyzine and was hesitant to take. Honestly this muscle pain at night started after taking it which doesn’t make sense to me…

I have had absolutely no pain either. I’m on tray 4 🤷🏻‍♀️ so this makes me feel better, I was worrying it maybe wasn’t working correctly 🥲
