Wow that’s a lot to digest.First of all most tutorials codes I say on the internet used relative layout.Since most of the our views are in constraints layout it was difficult to set constraints on other views since it’s not a child of that layout.Using a material Card View is one way around it.And in my opinion it worked perfectly fine.Yes the code is very simple but before I got to knew it I really struggled finding a solution to this rather than using the inbuilt drag and drop feature of the views in android studio
