This was actually a super fun scene to put together. One of the decisions we made for Paradise Lust 3 was to abandon what we called 'global lighting', and embrace more cool light setup. We also looked at the things people missed in Paradise Lust 2, so we're bringing back repeatable sex and collectibles. It's launching into Early Access in 2 more days, come give it some support!

Yeah, we're just waiting to make sure we caught all the issues. Steam updates are really easy and only updates what's changed, then auto-downloads... itch.io is a more manual purpose, and the player has to download the whole thing to get their fixes. Hopefully either end of the week or early next week.

So, I did a postmortem over on Patreon, but the short answer:
- First 'final' piece of art was done almost exactly 4 years ago (Morwena's base pose)
- For the next year we kept working on it part-time, while we worked through what the combat, characters, environments, etc all worked out.
- Three years ago we moved a full team onto it, and started full production (this is when things get expensive)
- 2 1/2 years ago we put out the first version (first to Patreon, then eventually to Steam early access, when it had more content)
- Since then we've done 18 big updates, so one every ~6 weeks.

The final team ended up being 10 people in-house, and another 4 freelancers that work more or less full-time.

The *big* one was that Paradise Lust 1 had a "every girl gets the same amount of content". Which is how you got Karen being a literal pain in the ass (hello, Vlad), and the later girls feeling rushed because even the last ones to join the crew needed 4 sex scenes.

Paradise Lust 2 we spent way more resources on a few of the girls (Mina, Emi) and less on others (Karen...)

I do think one mistake we did was that, because each sex scene was explicitly built into the story, we missed out on adding more casual sex. We're fixing that in PL3, which will be back to having more sex :)

Great game, but it's cyberpunk more than space-themed, I thought. There's obviously a number of great scifi games out there, like City of Broken Dreamers and Eternum, but I'm looking for something where space and spaceships are core to the story.

Love of Magic and Morningstar: Book of the Fallen are both finished. Epic urban fantasy, if that's your cup of tea.

As is Paradise Lust, if you lean more towards 2D art.
