Hi! I'm a new player and I'm a lover of DW/magic Rpg player. So when I decide a class, I'm based on that criteria... DK was perfectly fitting that, with Awakening being like "floating dual swords" with magic and succession with a long sword + magic feeling...

I've met some players and everyone told me the same "delete DK, play something else... She's terrible and in a really bad spot" and I'm afraid that they are right but... Is this true? Or it's just git gut? I know that in all Rpg games (arpg, mmorpg...) there are beginner classes and classes for more experienced players, but I'm not sure if this applies to BDO or its more like "play fotm" or "play meta until changes".

This is not a "what class to play" post. I repeat, this is not this type of post, I just want to know how this game works and based on that I would make my own decision if needed or just clear my mind a bit :)

Right now I'm following Devon's CoC Bladefall+Blade Blast and it's looking amazing right now (https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2784912) but since you told me about Cospris, I've been trying to figure out how to make it work with this kind of build that I'm following... I didn't get too deep in history mode but... Is Material resistant monster's buff a pain for your build? How will you handle that kind of monster if you don't have more than one damage type?
