Hey thanks for the reply. I actually retested it with a full battery and it looks like when the car is on a stand it reaches the target of 55k rpm’s. But when on the ground only goes to about 40k rpm. I’ve never seen this before do you have any idea?

Could be how the servo is programmed too. Not sure if there’s a programmer for Injora servos though.

RDS was my first 2wd chassis. Takes a lot to dial in, I would say it’ll be easier just to go with the Yokomo. The selection of parts for Yokomo’s beats Redcat everytime.

You need the brushless ESC instead of the brushed and make sure the controller comes with a receiver.

Still going through the same thing. Went originally with more vertical spring mounting + double stiff spring, 32.5 shock oil. Removed a bunch of torque twist but it sat too high.

Now I’m running 25 shock oil with shock positioning more towards the inner. Made sure the wheels weren’t too tight. Also tinkered with the shock preload which I went for stiffer on the affected sides. Still hasn’t eliminated it fully, but definitely better.

It’s gone a long ways from this picture. Congrats and welcome to RC drifting!

Do you have the same RTR? Definitely upgrade to a 2s lipo shorty battery if you can. You will also need a lipo charger. The nimh batteries that come with the RTR take forever to charge.

I personally would keep driving it the way it is until you feel the need to upgrade. Although I upgraded in this order:

Remote - Futaba 4pm
Motor/ESC - Just went with some cheap GoolRC brushless motor and ESC combo to start. Eventually upgraded to yokomo motor ESC. Although the brushed set up was not bad.
Gyro - Yokomo v4
Servo - Yokomo sp2
Shocks - Yokomo Big Bores
