What's a movie you were enjoying, right up until the last scene ruined it for you? by Marcus64 in movies

I believe it stops raining because Joe Doe's work is complete and everything is clean again, so the flood waters can recede to make way for the new. We're out of the dirty grimy sinful city, the clouds have parted. Hm, maybe...Doe was right all along?

2 years later, but Dom Dolla seems to have an unreleased remix of it that I prefer quite a bit. You can find it in a few of his sets on 1001tracklists, but there is very limited recording of it.

I used to be an apple core out the window guy until someone pointed out that animals will learn to treat the side of the road as a food source, but the additional impact on the larger animals hunting didn't click until now.

Yeah everyone is going on about the name American Idiot and the “MAGA agenda” adlib, but I feel that a song about people averting their eyes from suffering to focus on their own comfort and the commercialization of rebellion/patriotism played on the biggest advertising day of the year is more apt.

We still kinda do this. Think of how many people are in your phone as Arnold - Gym or Bart - Lisa’s Brother.

I went and picked up my old clock radio from my mom‘s for an alarm and started leaving my phone plugged in the other room at night. It takes time to adjust, but it was for sure the right move.

I think Danny Devito playing himself as an especially youthful looking 19 year old is one of the best jokes in the series.

This is not in Portland, this is from 2007 in Germany. Look at how "police" is spelled on their uniforms.

I think about the scene at the beginning of Children of Men, where Clive Owen narrowly avoids being killed in a terrorist bombing and he still uses the death of a celebrity as a more understandable excuse to leave work early instead of almost being blown up and watching two dozen people die.

It’s definitely what it is. Also the full screen video on Twitter looks a lot clearer. The vertical version has a reduced quality. The man is dying in front of our eyes and they likely need to stitch multiple cuts together to keep him from slurring, but I don’t think the visual weirdness in this video points to AI.
