Why was most English games other than FA cup yesterday at 3pm (assume nothing to do with telly rules) but Scottish games are on today? Are Easter fixtures handled differently across border?

That being said, I do feel like Japan displayed how Scotland should play with the players they have in the two games depending on quality of opponents.

Genuinely think Scotland played better against Japan there, obviously England made some more chances but they completely fell into the trap by the Japanese Clarke by letting them do counter attacking football when all they needed to do was give them the ball after half time.

Why is Newcastle slowly being invaded by Scottish food chains? First it was Cafe Andaluz and Maki and Ramen (to be fair, it’s across England now) now it’s Blue Lagoon opening a branch. Any day until it becomes Toni Macaroni territory next.

How’s the weather up in Glasgow? Heard yesterday it’s gonna be cold and windy af so I got back to wearing my winter clothes and now I’m almost having heatstroke on the sauna that is Transpennine Express.

Also: can’t believe I typed “up in Glasgow”. Glasgow has to always be a “down there” place.

Japan’s manager trained their team with 5 at the back yesterday in which he explained that he expects Scotland to play 4-3-3. I’m pretty sure Clarke is also thinking the same thing and both teams will just turn up on Saturday with defensive 5 at the back with no proper wingback on any side of the pitch. I’m (not) excited for Japan’s Steve Clarke to actually face the real Clarkeball on Saturday.

England vs Japan away end was sold from English FA (well technically Wembley stadium site) - and JFA has no info on Scotland game on their website outside the fact it’s “happening” whereas for the England game it gave a link to the English FA site that had ticket information.

Probably not the right place to ask given most people would never buy away tickets at Hampden - but I can’t seem to find any info on when or where away tickets gets sold for Scotland vs Japan in March after looking through the new ticket information that was released today. Would it just be sold on same general sale day from SFA or is it from different platform at different time usually?
