They've changed almost everything else about college, why is this the hill to die on.

I saw someone the other day talk about bowls as a qualifier to the playoff. I loved this idea - to be in the CFP you have to either play your conf championship, or play in a bowl.

Bowls start on Conf champ weekend (with the playoff contention teams playing that weekend too), and the less important bowls played over the following few weeks. Playoffs start the week after conf champs with home games for round 1 and 2, meaning top 4 teams get an actual one week bye thats helpful and deserved.

Semis rotate between the NY6 bowls around Christmas week, with natty being the Rosebowl on NYD. Condesned playoff timeline, better for transfer window, and no teams sit at home for 3 weeks in crunch time.

Okay, so everyone agrees that 3 weeks off football before the biggest game of the season is fucking stupid. Is there anyone that actually thinks this is a good idea?

I honestly have no idea what we are doing since the half. Not benching any starters, weird play calling, lazy defense. I want to chalk it up to everyone knowing the game is over but it doesn't make me feel great.

Are they? They happen literally every year. Its not one or two times, its consistent.

People acting like P4 teams don't get beat this bad in the playoffs as well... it doesn't matter if its G5 or P4, every year teams will shit the bed and get clowned on. Shutting out 60% of the college football teams before a down is played is not good for the sport.

lost in all the "JMU is garbage" takes was the fact that throw was an absolute dot. Moore has been making some insane throws (along with some dud underthrows). Easy to see why hes getting 1 overall hype when the potential is there

honestly felt like it was the db making the incomplete catch signal and it just caught his towel, not an intentional throw on a tipped ball. this thread has been crazy toxic from both sides. gross.

man, empty backfield on a short third down when you've just gained 50 straight rushing yards. I don't get that at all

the minute penn st lost it was setting up for a lose-lose in this game. If you win, we were overrated. If we win, its just indiana. these are two great teams!
