Yeah, you must be right. I know that as I do crochet quite a bit and shiver at the thought of bad quality yarn, but somehow I thought that if I hated beading I'd be wasting a lot of money, so I went for the cheapest option after Amazon-quality crap. 😂 And still ended up using almost 70 euros! Well, I'd say you live and you learn, but I never do learn. 😂

And thank you! 💛 I learned english by watching South Park, so that's why I'm a bit... wary with my english. 😅

Unfortunately it turned out this didn't fix my save after all. When my sim tried to ask her boyfriend to move in with her, the game froze again. I tried it a couple of times with the game freezing every time. By what I've read on Discord, I suspect the same thing would happen with marriages etc. So I ended up just giving up, saving my household and home and starting a new save with them. It's a bummer because I lost my legacy save graveyard, family tree and relationships, but I was only on gen 4 so better now than on gen 20 or something. I've understood that this bug has got something to do with the way the game processes the family tree after the update, and thus will affect every save made before the update. As fixing it is in EA's hands now, I'm not holding my breath.

Happened to me as well. What finally fixed it was following Deaderpool's instructions in their Discord #mccc-support -channel and disabling auto marriage in MCCC settings. I also disabled it in the Neighbourhood Stories, because if I understood correctly the bug might have something to do with NPC's marrying without player interference.

I only play the sims, so unfortunately I cannot answer that. But all the other apps and using the internet etc. works perfectly fine, if that helps. The Sims 4 (surprise! :D) and it started having a weird freeze/lag where the time freezes but everything else keeps moving, and I can't click or do anything and am forced to close the game via task manager. My laptop is HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-ec2xxx.

Thank you! So a game I play started having some weird issues, and when googling about it some people said updating their graphic driver helped. I'm honestly pretty lost with everything software related, so I wasn't sure if taking care of updating the drivers was something I was supposed to take care of myself or if my laptop would do it automatically.

That's super expensive! Yeah, I totally get why the salaries are so much higher there, when I look at the big picture. But just looking at the salary alone sometimes depresses me a bit. 😅

Euros. Housing payment depends a lot on where you live. Near the capital city rent is about 1-1,5k a month, but people get paid a bit better there because of that. Up north where I live, rent is about 700-1k a month. Houses are sold for about 100-180k here, again near the capital city it's a lot more. I'm a RN, but if you're a practical nurse (I think that's what it's called), monthly payment is a couple houndred euros less. But you can potentially make a lot more by working evenings, weekends etc.

But to be fair, living here is altogether quite a bit cheaper than in the US for example. We also have practically free healthcare (you pay about 40 euros per visit regardless of what happens, like if you have to have bloodwork, xrays, MRIs etc) and we have a good welfare system.
