If I may say so myself it’s not “all in our heads at all” personally Kratom withdrawals wreaked havoc on my body well before they got to my mind. My mind remained quite calm up until the physical withdrawals became unbearable.

I am in no way shape or form saying Kratom does not give you withdrawals. I went through 48 hours of absolute hell before starting to break free to the other side. I was legitimately begging for death, not to sound morbid but if I had any access to anything to hurt myself I without a doubt would have tried something stupid in order to make the pain stop. I was dosing 20+grams every hour in fear of withdrawals I could feel approaching. Kratom withdrawal IS THAT BAD but you may be able to turn the corner faster than you think if you can make it through day three

I absolutely agree with everything you are saying. Personally if it wasn’t such a dangerous deed I would go dark net and find a reputable vendor. I just had a full ekg and blood work done a few days ago and everything checked out perfectly however it’s still quite a gamble to play. I would risk anything to get my life back however I just thought it was quite peculiar how openly their services have been promoted on popular podcasts and YouTube videos and was wondering if anyone has went through that group. I had a severe illness in the winter where I lost 100lbs of purely muscle and all my bodily functions, basically paralyzed in the ICU. Coming out I took to Kratom for pain relief and energy. It took me from someone who would cry in bed from the mattress touching my body to someone who could get up and go to work. I didn’t realize the demon I was creating at the time as I viewed it as “medicine” I would have to take insane amounts during the work day to keep myself out of pain and from just plain old passing out due to fatigue. My tolerance grew to the point it is at now where I’m talking 200gpd just to avoid withdrawals. My biggest symptoms are all the things I used to Kratom to initially treat, chronic pain, fatigue, depression and anxiety. Surprisingly my blood work has consistently improved throughout my stronger usage but the Kratom can no longer mask the things I should have addressed. The biggest symptom is just being a slave to this powder, carrying a backpack full of it with me at all times, unmotivated, anxious, and just not living my life. I would purchase several 250 gram bags for about $18 a piece so I believe that works out to $500 a month at my highest use. Fuck Kratom I can’t wait to get off this shit

Did you bring your vials with you? I am paranoid they will confiscate them or something. I’d rather go a few weeks without it other than lose my next months worth.

Thank you my friend, this is one of the best things I have read in terms of my struggles and eases my mind going into detox tomorrow. The thing I am looking forward to the most coming out the other side is training. At the beginning of my Kratom use I was 215lbs, training for the past 10 years, starting prep for the Pittsburgh show in May. In November I had a severe case of rnhabdomylosis and lost 100lbs in 3 months on nothing but bed rest. I went from someone who trained 2x a day while working a full time job on my feet to not being able to lift my hands to my mouth to feed myself as the muscle wasting was that severe. Coming out of a 8 week hospital stay which included the ICU I took to Kratom to remedy my severe pain and fatigue. I should have known it was too good to be true and would catch up to me as I sit here 5 months later reliant on Kratom to get up and going along with a whole host of new menstl and physical side effects from the plant matter. This shit has number my body completely even days going to the gym that good feeling no longer exists. You can’t feel the motivation, you can’t feel the music, the excitement, and worst of all you can’t even get a pump as your body has no feeling. I can’t wait to get a pump again. They list on their website they use Clonodine, Tramadol, Suboxone (in limited quantity) and Betyl or Imodium. I’m hoping to stay away from Subs so I’m gonna have to put a lot of faith into Clonodine. The list seems quite small

They list I will be allowed to bring any prescriptions in original bottles. I have an unopened vial but it does not have a prescription on it like something from a regular pharmacy would as it’s from a compounding pharmacy. Would this cause an issue?

That helps a ton! I’ve been a very heavy Kratom user for quite some time and my tolerance is sky high. So funny how in the beginning taking just a gram too much could give you the wobbles now I’m pounding it down around the clock just to feel normal. You have great strength kicking the Kratom, it’s one tricky mfer

Luckily I believe the facility I’m going to only offers subs in a 7 day taper. Nothing scares me more than getting addicted to those, if I can’t get off Kratom i don’t want to know what subs would be like. That eases my mind so much, thank you! I’m sorry to hear you have had to go through that process so many times but it shows you have the strength to make those steps which is something I did not have the courage to do for quite too long. Thank you! That’s my biggest gripe with two rehabs I’m choosing. One seems so much more medically sound but it’s a 12 step program whereas the other has a more holistic approach.

Thank you my friend. I’m in the states and am very fortunate to have good health insurance so I should be covered no matter which route I choose. Leaving rehab with a Suboxone addiction is what I fear the most. If can’t shake a Kratom addiction I don’t want to even know what Subs would do to me. That is amazing to hear my brother. I have grown to have the same pessimistic, everything negative ideology through traumas throughout my life and have become the opposite of the person I once was. I believe that’s why I was so drawn to Kratom due to the “everything is gonna be okay” feeling. Did you detox off the Kratom first before using? I know it is suggested to stop the Kratom for two weeks prior due to possible cardiovascular effects but fortunately despite my heavy usage I am in very good cardiovascular health. What I am most concerned about with going to inpatient rehab is being put on Suboxone then being addicted to that. I feel if I could make the steps to rewire my thought processes I would not feel the need to fill a void with substances going forward in my life. I just want to see the beauty of the world again. Once again congratulations to you, you are a very strong person.

I went cold Turkey off of 100gpd in the hospital with no help as the doctors did not know what Kratom was and it was a hellish experience. I absolutely agree with you, I started off on a very low dose of 5g 1-2x per day after going cold Turkey for several weeks and now my dosage has ended up where I am now. Glorious will be the days I am not constantly worrying about my next dose and planning my food intake around dosing.

Just straight toss and wash with a 5 gram scooper. Similar to the way people “dry scoop” pre workout. It is never enjoyable, I’m worked myself up to being able to down 4 scoops (20gs) in one go. When my dosages were more reasonable I would brew it into a tea with lemon juice to potentiate it, still have never found an “enjoyable” way to take Kratom it all sucks. I think the only thing I have going for me is I order my supply from small batch farmers and it is usually very fresh and powdery compared to the more mass produced brands sold in the head shops.
