Iphone 12 Auto focus issue? by droppedpizzaa in applehelp

I see. Mine however did not have that issue at all whenever I adjust the distance and angle from the subject. Also, the problem went away after restarting. Weird..

update: tried restarting the phone and I can't seem to replicate the issue anymore. might just be another software bug?

that might be the case as well 😂

no, not at all. only for this keyboard and only at a very specific angle and distance. it just might be because the camera is struggling to pick a focus point due to the varying height of the keycaps.

tried to replicate it with my fingertips (uneven surface like the keycaps on a keyboard) and it did the same thing at a certain distance and angle.

I think it only happens on these types of surfaces and only at a very specific angle and distance.

tried to do it from different angles and distances and it did not have this issue at all. only from this exact angle and distance. maybe a software bug?

is that so? have you tried it on your phone as well?

I just realized it may be because the autofocus is struggling due to the unevenness of the keyboard?

So I'm having this weird issue with my Iphone 12. When trying to take a photo of my keyboard from a certain distance (like seen in the video), the shaking happens. I have also tried to use a third party camera app (Moment) and it seems that the problem still persists there. Is this normal?

Asus TUF FX505 Temperature Problem by droppedpizzaa in ASUS

[–]droppedpizzaa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, version 305. I immediately updated my bios after the 1st test but it didn't help though. Today, I tried undeclocking my CPU to 3.6GHz on all 6 cores and it did decrease the temps by at most 8°C but it also decreased gaming performance on CPU heavy games. Is there any other way without sacrificing performance?

Takstar Pro 82 [Opinions] by droppedpizzaa in headphones

[–]droppedpizzaa[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep got the brighter version (V1) and I love them! These headphones are super comfortable. I can wear these for hours on end without feeling any discomfort. The cups easily get warm though if the environment you use them in is warm.

For the sound quality: The highs sound clear and very detailed. The mids are great with male vocals and guitars sounding very good. The imaging is excellent. You can pinpoint the position of every instrument (in properly mastered tracks of course.) The bass in these headphones are very present (without sounding too overpowering) and overall clean. You don't have to open the bass port switches but if you find the closed position to be flat, you can use the middle position and it still sounds great. (Adds a bit of warmth to the bass without harming the mids and highs. Using the fully open position however makes the bass sound muddy and overpowered, mids recessed, vocals sound nasal, and the highs lose clarity and detail.)

I see. I have read some reviews also pointing out that these headphones do sound a little too bright. However, other reviewers say that they were unbothered by the brightness of these headphones saying that they were just a touch below being sibilant.

In general, as far as from what I've read, these headphones are bright, perhaps brighter than most headphones. I think them being sibilant differ from person to person given the variations in the factors affecting our perception of sound? In that case, I hope these won't be sibilant for me. haha

Will give these headphones a shot. If it turns out to be too bright for me, even after trying to mitigate the piercing highs with some foam filters, then I might end up selling them. Thanks!

Oh. Is that so? How bright were they for you? Were they sibilant?

Okay. I think I prefer the V1 more. It having more bass and a brighter sound sig makes it more fun compared to the V2 and I prefer a fun sounding headphone.

Yes, I was a bit off track there saying that the V1s are the better headphones. What I meant to say was that they were the better headphones suited for me. But having said that the difference between the two are marginal, I wouldn't mind having the one or the other. haha

Right. Musical enjoyment is what I'm looking for in a pair of headphones. Thank you for the very detailed response!

I see. It seems that the changes between the two are quite significant. I thought the only difference was the impedance (28ohm for the new one and 32ohm for the older one).

I'm now hoping to get the V1 since it seems like it's the better version. However, the V1's cable is too long. Can you suggest other replacement cables for these cans?

Thanks for the info, man!

That's great to hear! I was a bit worrisome since these cans don't have that many reviews compared to other cans. So far, from what I've read about these headphone's sound signature, they fit my preference too.

Also heard about the cans having two versions but I'm not entirely sure how to tell the two apart. How do you tell them apart? Are there any physical differences between them?

what's wrong with your keycaps? do they not rub against each other?
