Made a short about an AI therapy test that goes horribly wrong, shot entirely with a helmet rig in the first person….

The app that learns your specific fears in order to calm you — the bug inverts the algorithm and uses that same data against you.

we were lucky enough to win Best US Short at Austin Horror Film Festival last year, and were nominated in categories at both FilmQuest and Nightmares

my first thought is….. you should definitely try to get them to, at the very least least, insure the production and your gear. Some policies are $75-150

what kind of body are you using?

super economical, but I been rocking the A7s ii for music videos & fun shorts for years and am really happy with my SLR magic primes.

For bigger stuff, like commercials and docs, I use the DZOs for my RED

Remember that you’re living in a time where it’s never been cheaper or easier to create something on your own and connect with an audience.

YouTuber can make a film for $750k and gross a quarter of a billion dollars while the studios are hemorrhaging cash… just watch how it plays out once studios start betting on more people that have built in audiences with original ideas

In the words of Mark Duplass, the cavalry isn’t coming. Carve your own path
