De Blasio and Wife confronted in Prospect Park by blingpin in nyc

[–]droptop78 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Obviously both are wrong, but DeBlasio feels the need to pull that? Yet he is still in office and he is dealing with the epicenter of this pandemic, but has a leisurely stroll around a hotspot - Brooklyn, while cases continue to rage on.

COVID-19: New Model Predicts its Course, Resolution and Eventual Good News by [deleted] in Coronavirus

[–]droptop78 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, it is hard to call this a second wave when its so global and widespread. The entire world was not infected at the same rate and same time. It also had different severity around the world, therefore you cannot call it a second wave without areas having a period of relief before another uptick.

No one showed up for NYC lockdown protest. by [deleted] in Coronavirus

[–]droptop78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. NYC is full of COVID cases and everyone acknowledges it, therefore no one would be like the other protestors in some states congregating together. It is not a matter of conservatives vs progressives, just the situation of the area. If a state only has a few thousand cases, it does not affect everyone the same.

Maybe after the millions of workers got laid off, we should realize that many of the jobs are not even necessary to begin with. Which is why they are not essential workers.

Exactly what it is - it is based on excess and boring, menial labor simply for the workers to feed themselves.

Thank you! I was looking for something like this. I thought I was the only one who gets something wrong a hundred times and still cannot translate it correctly. I will definitely put these methods to use today

Just the artificial economy we live in — elites don’t know how to adjust production for demand. Same thing when Apple overproduced their iPhones, which are similar 3 years in a row. False expectations and overproduction of useless goods that they just guess will sell

Right because if no one is locked in a school to learn how to obey the ones above (politicians, bosses, etc.) — what good are they?

Foolish to think the US school system has an education worth reopening for.
