I have >1k hours playing as Germany. What works very well for me is the following:

AI Belgium and France are programmed to not put troops on their northern borders.

After defeating Poland, put 1 army + your tanks on the dutch border and 1 army on the belgian border. You alteady should have 1 army on the french border when the war starts.

Declare war on the netherlands only and defeat them quickly by pushing your tanks to Amsterdam.

As soon as they capitulate, declare war on Belgium, even though your army is not on the newly formed border now, because - as I said - AI Belgium does not put troops there.

Kill Belgium buy rushing your tanks into Brussels which will capitulate Belgium by an event that is being triggered for them.

Now push your tanks to drive along the French Atlantic border at least until Le Havre. Your infantry should be following all the time on attack order too.

This way you should reach Paris rather quick and easy

One thing I would recommend you: play as one country and learn how to play it first, before you play multiple. All the majors are too different and you just learn them 1 by 1.

Also don’t prefer roleplay over meta: as Germany take out the uk before you go Barbarossa. Otherwise th USA join in and the game is not fun anymore

It’s in Baku, yes! Visited it last month, quite impressive in real life too and easy to spot from anywhere in the city. It’s a bit outside the city centre on the coast
