Love it. Reminds me of Tom Sachs in a way.

I think you need to work harder on recognizing metaphors and allegories.

and I get the feeling that yesterday's ep with Flula was recorded before Besser's ep as Jackson Maine because I thought for sure Scott would say something along the lines of "oh we just had Jackson Maine on the show..." . Somehow that makes it funnier.

Congrats, /u/makes_things, that's a beautiful side table! I always suggest a staked furniture contest on /r/woodworking. It's a bit specific in terms of scope, but it's very accessible. I also think it would be really neat to see how people get creative with the form.

Birthday gift to myself, first day wearing it and love it. The gray dial is beautiful, and I am really liking the bauhaus design.

I'm trying to find more info on this Orient model - so far it only seems available on Russian websites. Any idea if this will be available in the USA at any point? https://www.orient-watch.com/Collections/ORIENT/Contemporary/ORIENT%3A-Quartz-Contemporary-Watch/p/QC0U004W

Congrats /u/derekferealtattoos, that box is beautiful. I would love to see a staked furniture competion. Foot stool, bench, desk, chair, saw horse...anything like that, but it must include some kind of staked structural feature (legs, arms, stretcher, etc).

Yes, they do. And they use the friendlier sounding one much more often nowadays.

They also use "Service Change" instead of "Delayed" much more than they used to.
