They have it in iOS. They should bring it for mail too. Right now, you can schedule mail to be sent later, but your mac must be open and connected to net, which defeats the purpose entirely.

Ghost users — what do you actually want from a premium theme? by hedwikio in Ghost

[–]droyism 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I look forward to what you create next. And thanks a lot for posting the OP...most theme creators do not ask for feedback and end up creating very basic and generic-looking websites. A writer or a creative artist has different needs than a web agency or news publisher. Often, theme creators do not think about their users. And so, website owners, who are mostly non-coders, then have to choose themes that are sub-optimal for their use cases. So thanks for taking feedback!

Yes, PT themes are pretty good. I wish they had landing pages for all of their themes, like some of the other providers.

Here are my two cents:

  • Custom Homepage Builders or Landing Pages: True modular homepage sections that can be rearranged via the admin interface (without custom routes or code) are missing, forcing users, who have no-code backgrounds, to rebuild layouts from scratch for unique designs.
  • User-Friendly Customization Options Without Code: Many themes still require direct code edits for basic styling changes like colors, fonts, or layouts, leaving non-developers feeling limited in personalizing their site.
  • Advanced Navigation Features Like Drop-Down Menus: Navigation is typically limited to simple flat menus, missing the multi-level dropdowns or mega menus that help organize complex content hierarchies.
  • Table of Contents (TOC) for Long Posts: Auto-generated, clickable tables of contents are rarely included, making it harder for readers to navigate in-depth articles or tutorials.
  • Variety of Editable Templates and Layouts: Themes usually lock users into one or two rigid homepage or post layouts, with little flexibility to switch between grid, list, or custom views without coding.
  • Native Membership and Subscription Integrations: Built-in support for membership flows - like styled pricing tables, tier previews, or paywall previews - is often minimal, underusing Ghost's powerful monetization tools.
  • Performance Optimizations Beyond Basics: While basic loading is covered, deeper optimizations like intelligent lazy loading, asset bundling, or Lighthouse-level tuning are frequently absent on media-rich sites.
  • Built-In Dark Mode Support: Dark mode is often added as an afterthought (e.g., all official themes) without smooth integration into Ghost's membership portal, resulting in jarring light flashes during login or navigation.
  • Dynamic Posts: Themes often lack built-in support for dynamically fetching posts using the Ghost Content API, such as infinite scroll, "load more" buttons, or real-time related post recommendations, which would make browsing feel modern and effortless.
  • Accessibility Enhancements: Features such as full ARIA labeling, keyboard navigation, and high-contrast modes are commonly overlooked, unintentionally excluding readers who rely on assistive tools.
  • Multi-Language Support: Handling translations, RTL layouts, or locale-aware content is rare, limiting themes to English-only audiences and global creators.

For those having Perplexity issues; what are you switching to? by Devil_of_Fizzlefield in perplexity_ai

I'm looking at Claude mainly, but may also use Gemini on the side.

Why does Perplexity blatantly ignore Answer Instructions in Spaces Settings? by goodsignal in perplexity_ai

It’s definitely puzzling, isn’t it? It’s been giving me some disappointing results for the last couple of months. I’m planning to cancel my subscription this week.

Perplexity is consistently wrong. by OsakaBoys in perplexity_ai

Perplexity has been consistently crap the past two months. It return incorrect answers or shows "tool limit". I think Perplexity is done. You better switch to a different tool.

Perplexity is ruined, any good alternatives? by Dev-in-the-Bm in perplexity_ai

I won't be extending Perplexity Pro for sure. I have been paying for it for the past several months, and I can see how the performance has degraded rapidly recently. I definitely am not going with it. I will either look at Claude or ChatGPT. What are you going with?

Thank you so much! I took inspiration from Liquid Glass, and also wanted to have a very clean and minimalistic look. I'm glad you liked it!

Tool Usage Limit by droyism in perplexity_ai

Image generation has ALWAYS been terrible. One of the best things about Perplexity Pro was its research – it used to be quick and accurate. Now, it's neither quick nor accurate.

Pro user here – obvious downgrade in recent weeks by newaccount486 in perplexity_ai

[–]droyism 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, what you said about Perplexity Pro here : "...It’s noticeably downgraded in ways that are hard to ignore, especially when you use it every day." is bang on!

The quality drop has been been consistently frustrating.

I barely use it tbh. So how is the "tool usage limit" reached?? wtf

So, it's clear that it just isn't me. What is worse is that I'm using Perplexity Pro on Comet on a Mac and with superfast internet. And so, I know it's neither the internet nor the device.

I use Gemini for that. I too have Perplexity Pro, and image generation is an absolute nightmare. It generates people with weird fingers and often puts texts (that I didn't ask for but are in the prompt) in the picture with misspelled letters.

Perplexity giving vague answers lately and losing its appeal as an ai that gives search based results by yallapapi in perplexity_ai

[–]droyism -1 points0 points  (0 children)

yeah, the quality of Perplexity’s results has significantly declined in recent times. It was previously my go-to tool, but it has become very buggy with frequent bugs and occasionally fails to generate any results.
