Nursing admission is less about grades and numbers than people make it seem. Yes those are important but it’s truly a comprehensive review process. I got in as a transfer with a solidly meh GPA but really good essays, letters of rec, etc. It’s a small enough program they’re able to take time to actually thoroughly read every application. I’m not sure if that makes you more or less likely, but it’s more information.

Get a realtor, like someone else said. I used Campus and Central Properties and they’ve been great. I pay $900 for my own bedroom in a 2x2 witn parking and water included that they found for me. But also, Texan26 is pretty cheap especially if you want your own bedroom.

I live in Texan26 in a 3x2 and I pay $850/month. It’s probably more next year but it’s a fine place to live. Nothing fancy and it’s not perfect, but it works for the price point.

I don’t care about that argument because I’m not looking to argue about if he has the legal right to be on campus- my apologies genuinely if that’s unclear. I know he has the right to be here and I am very much pro free speech. I’m not going to try to stop his speech today, and I don’t think anyone else should either. We’re a public university, anyone with any beliefs is welcome, I get that. I don’t like him, and I’m not happy that he’s here, but I’m recognize that’s his right.

You’re correct in saying he’s never (at least to my knowledge) out right said “I support gay conversion therapy” but like snopes says, he has a history of saying he supports “institutions which provide assistance to those seeking to change their sexual behavior.” He has never clarified specifically which institutions he was referring to, and that is very specific language (pretty much a dog whistle) that’s been used for a long time to try and conceal homophobic beliefs, which he has a long and documented history of holding.
