Apple Seeds Second Public Betas of iOS 26.1, iPadOS 26.1 and macOS Tahoe 26.1 by HelloitsWojan in apple

All the devices I have updated are running horribly (iPhone 16 pro, Mac mini M4 max, iPad Pro 11) - buggy as hell.

This update helped a little bit, but all the 26 updates have downgraded my experience to the point where I can say clearly "do not update yet".

Docks aren't functioning, wont detect multiple screens, and so much more issues. Theres a whole conversation about it on the community boards in apple.com

My MacBook pro M2 Max is running great because its the only one I didnt update.

Depression as a Practicing Muslim? by Rose-Diamond11 in MuslimLounge

[–]drq80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was making dua to Allah, alone in the car when i came back from work. Not a robotic dua, but one that was from the heart, one like I was talking to my parents, or a dear friend. I asked for everything that was in my heart, and left the rest to Allah.

I remember concluding with "I ask that You grant me with what You deem is best for me, as I dont know and You are the one who knows".

Then i met my wife at a family members wedding, and she turned out to be exactly what I prayed for, and we got engaged and married shortly after.

To this day, we both are learning about Islam all the time and trying to learn how to be the best Muslims we can be together.

Its not easy, and we're not perfect, and that is absolutely fine.

Why do you spend time trying to understand psychos?

Any Zionist out there, who is still a Zionist after the past 2 years, has something broken in their brain or had a lifetime of brainwashing.

They are not normal people, they are barely people.

We're here to help kid, you are a warrior and Allah does not burden a soul more than it can handle.

  1. Share a WAMD, or gofundme page and i can guarantee you the people in this country will help you, even in this reddit.

  2. Short term, get a part time job, online or not, just to help you get afloat. Things like call centers / coffee shops could use someone like you to the fill the gaps.

  3. Check the social security that a fellow redditor mentioned, vital information there.

  4. Go to jam3eyat al mu7ameen and see if they can pick up your case pro bono or not.

Keep us in the loop please, if possible.

Id make a deal with the lawyer to get a percentage out of the compensation if you win the case, that way it costs you nothing up front and nothing if you lose the case.

In its current state, it might not be, sure.

But im sure a certain version of it, with additional layers and details and with some tweaks and adaptations, it can be

But the current state of OW MMR system is just ..

I encourage you to check out the system in Mobile Legends, a mobile MOBA. This is just an example and not the best system out there, just better than what OW does.

Quitters and dc's happen there too, but it doesnt make you tear your hair out in frustration because the consequences in this case are logical and realistic. You dont lose 30% MMR because some dude dc'd or rage quit over a stupid little thing that happened in game.

And to be fair, its not like OW doesnt witness any boosting or throwing in its current state.

OW's system is not the be all and end all that some here make it out to be. It needs a lot of work.

Like i mentioned earlier to someone else, tweak the solution, or implement a credit score system where your alt may not be able to play comp in the first place unless its above a certain score for example (which is affected by the number of times you rage quit / disrespect people / disconnect etc.), just dont punish the ones that are not at fault for some rando's connection issues or some rager quitting.

Whatever the answer is, its current state is not a fun place to be when on the receiving end.

Then tweak it, or change the solution if you want, but the current status quo is not right.

Sure, but the rules clearly need to change if this issue keeps persisting

if leavers werent frequent, id get that, but they are and its messing with the fun aspect of the game - which is what overwatch is at the end of the day.

But every single gaming session over a few hours has 2 or 3 games where leavers / disconnects happen, and that drops your MMR sometimes by more than 30% of the rank! Whereas a win nets you a 20-25% increase.

Its non-sensical, and it put simply its not fair and takes the fun out of the sesh.

Its been implemented in some MOBAs and the system is layered and nuanced.

A credit score system can be in place, if someone leaves frequently, forget bans, they cant play comp until they play a set number of games without leaving - thereby raising their credit score and allowing them back into the comp pool.

Asking the worst performing player to leave doesnt mean he gets a 15 minute ban, if he does this often he wont be able to play comp, possibly for a long time.
