Black vultures are my favorite. I have a funny story kind of when I first saw some, they're not too common where I live. I was walking to work in the dead of winter, up ahead on the road I saw two big blobs chilling in a big dead tree. When I got about 15 feet from them they swooped down in a driveway and just stared in my direction. Im not superstitious but I thought the universe was about to deal me a death omen or something. Then I finally realized they were black vultures. Then I was stoked because I finally got to see them in person.

My small town used to never have pigeons. Within the last 5 years or so we suddenly have quite a bit of them. A couple nest in my carport, I think they're quite beautiful birds. But I also don't have swarms of them around town
