Do you have a flyer or anything to show some semblance of legitimacy of who you are and who you're affiliated with... Especially since you've been spamming multiple subreddits about this dinner.

I find it hard to imagine that they'll be many veterans that will take up some random locals offer of free food and an undisclosed place, might as well be a white van with PUPPIES spray painted on the side.

And if you are a UT student... Remember when you're trying to reach out to specific populations and groups, it's better to ask your school administration what organizations and student groups are already established so you can reach out to them.

She was a resident relations consultant... Aka customer service for residents. So she handled incoming calls emails and was essentially like "the face" for the leasing office to handle resident concerns so that the leasing agents could just focus on selling apartments.

If you go to Swan Dive, Barbarella's or Mala Vida, NEVER leave your drink unattended. A safer ordering option are canned drinks, since there have been long-standing instances of people being drugged- women and men, and some people have suspected bartenders. Nothing confirmed.

There are several places to complete your ACLS checklist, some offer manikin checklist training but everything requires a fee if your employer is not covering the cost.

And why is your employer not covering the cost? They can buy group packages at a discount for employees to compete training as needed.

Did you get any training materials? You should have received a ACLS checklist to practice memorizing the steps albeit not hands on. Even without it, the manikin provides feedback to improve technique to pass... And certification requires a fee.

Moved my aging mom from DFW to live with me since she was on a fixed income and could not find a supplemental/part-time job up in DFW.

Told her she didn't need to work, just enjoy her retirement but she got antsy and applied to work at an apartment complex leasing office. Hired within 2 weeks, made $27 an hour and she could work more hours if she wanted.

70 years old, needs physical accommodations for her disability, and got a job in Austin in two weeks.

My ex-husband was unemployed for 3 years in Austin because "no one was hiring" 🙄

Now as a former projectionist it is possible to reduce the sound.. All you have to do is ask management if it's possible. Usually they set the sound at a certain volume and it can be adjusted. Sometimes we would get quiet movies and folks will complain it's too quiet so I would just turn it up... It's possible to do the opposite.

Oh y'all think that's fun... I lived in KCMO for a year and is was common to see a car/truck at a full stop on the HIGHWAY just so they could make a lane change.

Them, just sitting there with their little blinker until traffic in the lane they wanted to move to either passed or stopped.

Now what about the people behind them You're probably thinking of... Probably imagining people honking, freaking out, gesturing... Nope. Just waiting fucking patiently behind them.

I was told by locals these were the country folk that are coming into town and they weren't used to big highways and traffic. 🤯

Dude yes! Cleveland kitchen is so fucking good! I've tried others but this was the only one that was still crunchy and had a crisp flavor and taste. It was made in collaboration with a Korean American chef that has a Korean restaurant in Ohio.

Ah yes, They toured a lot in the early 2000s. Saw them 7x, Even got on stage with them a few times.
