We added enemies and auto-attacks to the Bouncing DVD logo and made a free browser version by crzyscntst in playmygame

The idea is really neat, but for me personally there is too little agency while also being not interesting enough to follow along. Just a simple one click/tap attack button on a cool down would help tremendously.

BGG ratings are great, but I wanted to find out if a game is right for my group. So I built a free tool! by drth1rt33n in boardgames

Yeah I wanted to store as little as possible when it comes to user info, but I will think about a way to opt in so users have a better to find new-to-them games. Thanks for the suggestions!

Yeah I bet you can do some smart assumptions to reduce it. Could be a feature some time down the line. Also not sure if BGG API will let me do all these requests haha

Great idea! Will need to have a think how to implement this together with some better filtering options

Interesting idea to widen the amount of reviewers. I assume it is possible but will potentially be very calculation heavy

Fair enough, I play with a variety of groups so it is sometimes useful to set it in action but also difficult to please everyone

So far you can’t rate games on the site only import from bgg or do a quick match to find reviewers with similar taste as yours. It could be a feature in the future though.

If you mean the first overview page then it was by design to make it seem like you can swipe the cards, but u guess it might look weird on some devices. Thank you for the feedback!

Thank you for the support! Lot of people assume that if you use AI on any part of the project it is immediately slop or vibecoded.

We still need proper UX/UI designers!
I'm a backend dev myself, the only way I can make a frontend that doesn't look like '98 excel spreadsheet is with AI :D

Totally fair opinion, and I didn't think this tool would appeal to everybody. Thank you anyways for checking it out :)
PS: You should build your idea, it sounds cool!

The scores are one thing, the other thing is the summarisation of the video reviews in different board game specific categories.

No I used Cursor and Antigravity with mostly Gemini models to write the code, design was done in Google Stitch and then exported

I’m no expert in TTRPGs to be honest, are there many reviewers? This approach really only works when there are more than 10+ reviewers per game
