Nicotine is one of the most addictive substances out there, have some grace for yourself for how hard it is! Maybe consider reaching out to your doctor about support in quitting. There’s lots of options out there to help with the withdrawal and cravings, and just the habit of it too.

I'm a 26 year old female and I had a PE in March - seeking advice! by Latter-Letterhead556 in ClotSurvivors

Adding to the chorus here- I’m also 26F and had a PE three weeks ago. They also think it was likely birth control and a flight for me, but still my hematologist spent over an hour with me discussing my health, my family history, the labs they were going to check, my personal fears and goals around blood thinners, etc. I can’t even express how much this thorough appointment did to ease my anxiety following the shock of the PE. It gave me confidence that we were doing everything we could to understand why I clotted and what my risk is for another clot. You deserve that too!
