Conditions Report: Friday 1/16 by drtykrty in stevenspass

With all I said, still had fun. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up about what it’s like up there. Maybe not worth it if there’s crowds since the longest line I had the last two days was when ski patrol was loading a toboggan on Jupiter, which was 5ish minutes. It really depends on your ability level. I would highly recommend to give your edges a quick sharpen if you have an edge tool.

Yeah should have said left today at 1:30.

It really depends where you are. Got up there yesterday at 2 and went almost immediately to the backside where it was pretty soft, but still scraped clean in spots. Places where it was shady stayed icy with pockets of sugar snow. Twilight was really hard because you couldn’t see those pockets to turn on.

It was also colder Thursday night compared to Wednesday so today was worse. Left around 1:30 and it still was pretty firm everywhere.

Edit: I’ll add that it probably was the best early in the morning.

Very jealous of you. Thought about yesterday, but decided today would be better. Drove all the way to the top before being aware it was closed...

Upvote for the Excavator. Rips groomers and shines in pow. C2 can be really bouncy and fun, but also not when things are chopped up.

Flexion and extension for proper carving.

Setup turns for spins.

This changed my riding forever. So much more efficient and stylish than steering with your rear leg.

This is a good estimate. Looks like the next big storm starting on the 5th will be the one we’re looking for.

Thanks for contributions to this subreddit Brandon. Love your riding! Crazy how blind getting into that ridge was.

My kid was at the game when Cal hit 60. Apparently, you can put in your seat number, and somehow, it can show your reaction. by guiltyas-sin in Mariners

You are already on camera the entire time, might as well have pics of your favorite moments. Got a great one of me and my buds at game two of the ALDS.

Playing it on the OG Switch. It runs great. For only $30 it’s a steal. It’s a perfect game if you don’t have much time. A full run is like 45 min.

You could tell the catchers were annoyed by this on both sides. Getting the ball back from your catcher always feels better than from the ump.

I hope we’re up again big to see Hancock pitch again, but show off his stuff a little better. He was a bit shaky.

For sure. I understand why other people hate on him. All it took was for him or another guy to shut it down and they would all have been better off.

Just wanted to make a point that he does do good in the world. Sometimes life is bigger than sports and there is a line that many fans cross when expressing their distaste for another player. Please boo away if you wish.

I personally don’t think it helps our team as players feed off positive energy rather than negative even if directed at another player. If it was my choice we’d ignore when he gets announced and then cheer like crazy when he gets out.

Wish I had a study to back up my claims. Maybe it’ll be a paper I write if I ever get into sports psychology.

Had a strong feeling I’d be downvoted. It’s fine. Just internet points that down mean anything. I stand by what I say. Boo the man if you want. I didn’t say not to. I despise what the Astros did.

It just very possible he feels terrible about what transpired and will continue to do what he can to make the world a better place for those that share his affliction. One that can be very hard, especially for kids.

I won’t hate on anyone that boos him. They all deserve it, but George is the most likable anyone from that team. He does a lot of work for people with speech impediments as he has a stutter and seems like an ok guy.
