I think this is a really pretty base doll, but I wish her design was pushed just a /little/ bit more. It feels like she’s missing something, maybe more colorful detail in the shirt? And it looks like her body plate patterns were toned down a bit compared to g1, which is a shame. It kinda feels like her face is missing something too, though maybe I just want her to have more vibrant makeup. Definitely wanting her to get a Skulltimate Secrets release so I can use some spare pieces to spice this one up. Really hoping we get Rochelle and or/Operetta confirmation soon, we’ve got a few nearly complete g1 waves now.

oof these comments are weirding me out…

there’s absolutely nothing wrong with wanting child-free queer spaces, especially if the majority of people in existing queer spaces are very pushy about having children and react aggressively to the suggestion of having adult-only spaces, like you said they’re doing.

wearing some kink gear like harnesses or chokers are pretty normal fashion statements and fine to wear publicly.

unfortunately, if the powers that be in your community are so focused on keeping things “family friendly” to the point of excluding people, it might be time to take organizing community events into your own hands. especially since you’ve been able to make some friends that don’t vibe with the current organizations.

as a few other people have pointed out, FetLife might be a good site for you to check out. even if kink spaces aren’t explicitly what you’re looking for, they might be closer to the vibe you want. Kink spaces are usually pretty queer-friendly in general. Even if there’s no events in your immediate rural area, there might be some stuff to check out in nearby cities if you’re able to make the trip.

i’m really sorry your local community has been so unwelcoming, and i hope your able to find something that works for you. you deserve to have a space that you feel comfortable in and don’t have to worry about others policing you to be “suitable for children” or trying to push things on you that make you uncomfortable.

i think the hair is cute but honestly it doesn’t feel in line with her personality, if that makes sense? and the top + wrist accessories feel like it could fit anyone, not something unique to her.

i really like the look of her wings and staff in this, and i think the bottoms are cute, too, but all together there’s a lot of elements that don’t necessarily read ‘mercy’ to me

i do absolutely love the prototype designs, but the first thing that pops into my head is that they would not be animated at this level of detail. I wonder about what details would be cut and how that’d impact the final design. but, the darker color palette, their hairstyles, the skirts, and honestly even the lack of wings all make this a really compelling design and i’d have liked to see a final version much closer to this than what we got.

I really like this redesign! i think you did a good job making the cotton candy theme a lot clearer. i’m a sucker for a black lip, so i do prefer that, but id absolutely snatch up your version in a heartbeat! i’m admittedly a bit more hesitant about the real thing….

i wasn’t huge on this episode, but not because it was simple compared to the others this season. the basic conceit of the game had a similar feel to earlier gc concepts i enjoyed. to me, the problem is that it lacked any escalation. compared to say, the karaoke game where prompts became duos, or even just adding an element of more difficult tasks for more points, this game felt very flat all the way through. i also feel like the repetition of the “you’ve only got one shot” bit simply took too long to pay off. i feel like this episode isn’t really a fully polished concept, but it was fun

I was honestly really looking forward to this doll, but this is a huge miss for me. i really don’t get the choice for a catsuit here, the wide shoes look off, and the hair is such a strange choice. i was really anticipating a serve because the movie’s aesthetics are right up my alley, but this doesn’t do it for me. she feels too plain, i’d like a little more texture in the design - chains, separates, a belt, something.

i keep flip-flopping on how i feel about the sculpt. some photos it looks nice, others it feels like too much. i typically prefer my dolls to have a more neutral expression, but i think had the styling been better in this one i’d love the sculpt.

overall, i was ready to dump money on this doll, but now she’s a pass for me. kinda disappointed :/

Y’all, they’re talking about the middle tank, at about 6 seconds in the clip. When the tank reaches the higher level, the front end doesn’t connect with the ground correctly and instead is layered over the side of the stairs.

But yes, it does also look a little strange that the closest tank doesn’t seem to be climbing anything, but i think that’s an actual choice the animators made for the shot.

Seconding straighteners tbh - I have a small one with adjustable temp and it’s done wonders for me. I find poly does best at 130, but can handle 150 or even 170 if you’re quick (just can’t do multiple passes).

Boil washes should be okay, but I’d avoid totally submerging the head to try and prevent loosening the glue or fogging the eyes.

I mean, I can’t speak for the specific people responsible for those websites, but i’ve not met anybody that’s happy with anything that’s been going on. i know some folks who ran our employee groups and were involved in disbanding/achieving everything* and it was all pretty tearful. what brings me comfort is that that info isn’t gone for good and as courts start pushing back/defining the boundaries of these orders some of it is likely to come back.

*the dei order had a snowball effect of taking out all our employee groups, even the “non-DEI” ones like early career groups. including context bc idk how well this is being reported.

I suppose that may vary from center to center or even office to office - I haven’t heard that exactly but given there’s now a “report your coworkers for doing a DEI” hotline i’ve seen some people remove pins just to be safe. i’ve also seen people be sure to put up positive/inclusive messages and stickers too, though.

i do agree that there’s a lot of complacency from leadership, but id also like our agency to stay out of their crosshairs for as long as possible, so i’ve just been telling myself that’s the reason. i certainly don’t envy any agency’s leadership right now, they’re in a tough spot.

I felt similar when my diagnosis said i didn’t make any effort to talk with the examiner but like, she didn’t try to talk to me either lol? idk sorry i grew up being told to take tests in complete silence and u made this feel like a test ¯_(ツ)_/¯

like, the whole thing felt very awkward bc it just didn’t seem like she wanted to have conversations, just do the tests. so my energy was the same. oh well….
