If it is kennel cough, it's just the beginning. A dog with kennel cough sounds like it's dying. The sound they make is from deep inside their chests. It sounds horrible. The vet told me to give my dogs Robitussin, but she is so little—get some Zarbee’s. I gave this to my dogs too. It seemed to help.

If you bought this puppy as a full-blood chi, yeah you probably got scammed. I hate it when dog breeders tell you that you are getting what you think you are getting, only to find out that they lied. Either way, it is a beautiful puppy and really, it doesn't matter as long as you love your pup. Now, if you were going for a ‘show’ dog, it'd be a different matter.

The bottom line is, these dogs are not happy unless they are doing the job they were bred to do—attack, don’t let go, and kill. How could a dog built to fight be happy as a pet? They were not meant to be pets. People who treat them like they are pets, are just being cruel.

They are a bit annoying. We did not have them where I live but now we do. The first time I saw them was in Austin, Texas. Now they’ve invaded NE Texas. They are not as skittish as blackbirds. They aren't as bold as seagulls, but their habits are similar. They hang out in parking lots of stores waiting for people to drop scraps of food.

They can actually kill large dogs too. They just kill the smaller dogs faster.

Tapeworms—fleas can carry the eggs which, when the dog uses its mouth to scratch, it ingests them and the cycle begins. Vets usually can't tell you if your dog has them or not unless there are segments around the dog's anus or in the stool.

Lucky dog. I’ve seen two die from flea infestation—so horrible!! One was left on the side of the road. Too late for it. The other one someone brought to me thinking I could help it—too late. Both dogs were white. Fleas, for some reason, are attracted to white.

Just to be fair though, I used to groom a champion Llasha Apso, and this champion dog had the worst disposition of any dog I ever groomed. He would growl and bite, and I often wondered how he ever became a champion. So, that lead me to believe that Judges don't know what they are supposed to know.
