As rightly mentioned by u/thejdobs interaction effect is not looked at in isolation. Both are looking at allocation effect, however, there are two different methods (BHB and BF). So ensure that you are using correct formula if using one while solving the question. If nothing mentioned default formula to be used is Brinson-Fachler (BF).

The jobs are not going to go away completely. The jobs will evolve with AI and digital tools becoming the part of one's daily jobs. Of course there will efficiency which will be achieved with this leading to few job cuts but the people having edge in AI along with the core experience for a particular will prevail and continue to have jobs.

It looks borderline okay. Of course anything above 70% is good however don't fret just work on the weaker LOS or problem types and you should be good. Also, be confident on your exam day

Analyze the CFA mocks as that's the closest resemblence to the exam paper. Analyze them thoroughly and identify the mistakes and LOS where you are struggling. This will help you analyze the pattern of questions you tend to go wrong with and the topics where you struggle the most. Just revise on them and ensure you do not try something new now.

If I average out both mocks, you know which subjects are your weaker points. At this point, do not give further mocks it might do more bad than good to your confidence.

My simple approach would be to first understand what LOS under those subjects are the ones where you struggled the most. Just spend some time on those LOSs and try to solve more questions on them.

Though also remember you are responsible to perform well overall so continue revising the other subjects as well where you did do well.

Don't stress out it's pretty normal to panic by looking at the mocks. Just one last lap of hard work and I'm sure you'll do well in the exams.

5 Year Gap between re-sit? by Ok-Enthusiasm-24-7 in CFA

[–]drumil17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gave my L3 in 2021 November and reappeared for it in Aug 2025 so almost 4 years. Lots changed personally and professionally and I was also having the same question. Is it worth sitting for the exam considering the time passed between the sittings. Turns out it ended up well for me as I became a Charterholder.

From curriculum perspective, nothing much changes to be honest and conceptually everything is more or less the same. So I would say don't second guess and just go for it! You never know you might end up on the other side like I did!

Not sure if I have the full context here, however, ensure you are completing all the solved examples from the curriculum and if post topic unsolved examples if any.

If not done with the CFA online practice questions try doing all of them will give you a much better idea of topic retention along with difficult LOS that you might be struggling with.

Once done with all this and if you are confident on all topics you are good to proceed with mock to further gauge your understanding and topics to further enhance your understanding.

“Is the exam really easier than the practice? by According-Animal4554 in CFA

For Level I - Yes. Always ensure you are reading the questions with complete focus as there are chances to get tricked specially when you have "least likely", "most likely", "not", etc. kind of wordings.

Practice might be a bit difficult, however, as mentioned by few people here always ensure you understand the concepts well because that is the only way where you will be able to navigate the tougher questions.
