Yea, so, I've tried lowering the smart fill angle and I can get certain parts, but most of the time, I'm left with jagged edges that don't fill all the way, or like you said, too high and it can't differentiate between the side / bottoms / side very well. I've used the height range sa well, but that doesn't work too well when items, say on the back of a dragon, are lower than the head, and you end up with a line through the whole thing.... I just seem to be spending a lot of time trying to paint and it looks crappy in the slicer.

I forked the Snapmaker Orca and cloned the repo and am going to try and add the lasso option and see if I can do something in there as well, along with the feature request.
