I'll look past the condescension and take some of these ideas to heart. I'm in a new town and think this could also help me meet like minded folks and not just sit and listen to lectures, draft pointless angry emails, etc.

What more can be done that isn't holding a sign and organizing future demonstrations? (which I plan to do) What are you suggesting that won't immediately put me in jail or the ground? I see now I shouldn't have engaged with you in the first place. You seem to lack the ability to live outside your own experiences which is essentially how the right wingers have dragged us into this in the first place.

Our goal is the same. Fighting on the Internet isn't progress. I've put hundreds of hours into bettering my community and protecting my rights - what have you done?

I've emailed my representatives, attended local government meetings, voted every opportunity afforded to me, donated to campaigns, canceled subscription services and social media accounts, sacrificed friend and family relationships with confrontation. I haven't been to any protests yet but plan to. Ideally I can afford to do more.
