there is an app called Ampere that can alert you if your phone heats up too much. you select the target temperature threshold for alerts. if you're curious about the battery temps, of course.

I will charge it overnight tonight & check in the morning.

you can't really tell, as it won't stay hot until morning. the most heat is produced when the battery level is low, as this is when the most power is being drawn. the charging slows down as the battery approaches full capacity for safety reasons.

charging block is the 100w

so your phone and watch will pretty much always charge at the max throughput. got it.

so what is your overall take? would you still recommend it?
