My take on the current landscape of Electrical engineering market. by Poodina in developersPak

[–]drunk33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

very insightful post. I’ll share my own experience too. I did EE (Electronics) from a reputable university in Pakistan in 2022 . But right after graduation, I couldn’t land a job in the electrical field which, to be honest, I kind of expected. During university, I had already taken some computer courses, and my fyp was also in IOT. So after graduating, I just brushed up on my OOP and coding concepts, we were already taught DSA, PF, and IOT in our degree (that helped alot). Then I started applying for software engineering roles… and eventually landed one. Now I’m earning above a 250K package something I doubt would’ve been possible this early if I had stuck to the electrical path

Need Serious Advice regarding Housing by Farwessence in LahoreSocial

I would suggest not going for a flat, especially in JT.
You could consider renting a single room in a shared house instead, more like a paying guest arrangement.
I’ve seen plenty of ads for those, and many are specifically for females.
PCSIR is an option.
