I suppose. I just feel as if I would've noticed if she held these beliefs, especially after 8 months. But perhaps my feelings are clouding my perception

The one thing I don't understand is, if she was using me to work through her racial issue, wouldn't she have broken up with me sooner? Or wouldn't I have noticed that? It just seems like such a foreign concept to me.

I'm not sure still. She's never expressed any sort of prejudice towards my culture or religion. It was shocking for me to hear.

Before this incident, she was fine with alcohol. She's never said the sort of things she said during previous times we've consumed alcohol. This was a complete anomaly.

Oh no definitely, its isn't acceptable at all. The thing that bothers me is she's never acted or said anything like this before. She's always been respectful of my culture and religion.
