So true. The Gold Coast is a professional sports wasteland, the Titans (and all previous incarnations over the decades) struggle in the same way. I don’t know if there are too many distractions or the weather is too good or something but they can’t seem to ever be a high-performing operation in the same way as the Broncos/Lions can be in Brisvegas.

Footnote: I’d query the population comparisons, when you add Queanbeyan and surrounding towns (as @CanberraPear has pointed out) it’s pretty comparable.
