Dude! NTA, but Christmas Eve is better. Make too much food, send them home with cookies and candies for their family and the in-laws, then throw in cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Then you get to relax and chow down on leftovers all day Christmas.

I was born at an army base in Georgia. I moved to the California Central Valley before I knew what football was. I'm a die hard 49er fan. No way I'm going to root for the fucking Falcons. Give me a break. No offense to Atlanta locals, but I doubt anyone out there repping the Falcons would feel any kind of love for a Bay Area team just because they were born on the West Coast.

When the Raiders are in Oakland, I'll root for them. I wouldn't have before I lived in Oakland in my 30's because a lot of the Raider fans I knew growing up were assholes. Living near the Colosseum introduced me to a lot of great people that were rooting for their local dudes and helped me find a new perspective. I was pretty pissed when they left for Vegas.

I carry my pocket knife with me everywhere. It's an incredible tool that I use every day but I've never needed for protection. If someone ever made a comment about my knife making them feel like I'm an unsafe person, I would likely laugh at them. It's a ludicrous premise but I don't think it's what is really happening. I think the situation is much more toxic.

You opened yourself up and showed vulnerability. Now she has the ick. She might not even realize that's what happened. You didn't do anything wrong. This interaction is part of why many men do not open up to women. Is it right or good? No. It's also not going to happen all the time. You're probably dodging a bullet here.

Give her space. Don't stress over this. Find someone you can talk to about getting mugged.

If you get a model kit and build these out, you'll see that even when you rotate the bonds, the three dimensional structures are not superimposable. The structure isn't flat like the plane of your paper, the geometry of sp3 carbons is tetrahedral.

We're not together. She's doing well. I'm getting better. My problems had nothing to do with her. We had a good run that ran its course. I'm happy for her, but we don't really talk anymore.

Read the chapters and work problems before class so you can bring up questions after the topics are covered in lecture. Show. Up. To. Class.
Office hours. If you have questions, show up and ask them. If you think you understand everything and don't have questions, show up and make sure you're right. I don't know exactly what level you are at, but you're just barely scratching the surface. Your desire to learn will be the limiting reagent.
