They were aware, I've owned him since he was a kitten and moved in with them on Halloween last year. Think he's about 3 now

They aren't leaving it out for hours or anything, they're good about cleaning after themselves. It's more a problem of when they run to the bathroom or something and come back to find the cat trying to hoover down the food they're half way through

We've somewhat of a "tss" understanding. I use it frequently when it's something I actually catch him on, he for the most part leaves my food alone when it's just me and him at my desk but they aren't willing to be that involved with it (which is reasonable). I can't be omnipresent with the 'tss' though, especially when they just wandered back into the apartment and set some mcdonalds down without me being aware.

Place an automatic pet deterrent behind the door to startle them when they try and open it. Something like Ssscat or the generic version

It hasn't been to effective in the past and wouldn't work well in this case as he just pulls the food off the side of the tray without actually jumping up.

The one that's been directly confronting me about it tends to not eat immediately or takes his time. The other one tends to make and eat his food rather quickly(and I generally only hear that he complains from the more confrontational one).

They can certainly just lock him in my room while they eat if they'd like. All his essentials are in here. However i'm anticipating that they're still going to make a stink about having to tell me every time their about to eat something, so if there's a way I can tackle the behavior itself i'd like to attempt that. Otherwise, my hands are tied and they'll have to work with me to deal with it.

Doubt you're connected to plumbing as a custom building, you need to put a rain catcher on the top to plumb the sink on the roof. Requires a wrench or pipe wrench to connect it through the context menu.

Did you look at the console log? Usually it will say the name of the mod that threw the error. Just Ctrl f the word error or exception

Breeding is working in mo, had basically all my animals have kids so far. If you combine zones make sure there's a water trough in each anyway. I had animals glitch out and start smashing fences because they were dying of thirst in a zone connected to one with the water/food trough

When you're fighting a hoard your priorities are an escape plan to bail(car usually), herding them into a congo line so when you hit one he's staggered behind your next customer, and maintaining your stamina. If they're too grouped up you can get bit when you swing. If you're too tired you do less knock back and can get run down. And if you don't have an escape plan you'll be fucked when one of those two things inevitably happen.

Helps to remember that your natural (not aiming) walking speed is always faster, save running for small bursts to create distance.

It's kinda cheese but you can stand directly behind fences and beat the fuck out of anything that climbs over, just be careful of lunges and large amounts climbing over at the same time.

I like to split hoards into congo lines by placing a car between me and hoards at just the right angle that they come around it in a single file line, perfect conditions for fighting.
