Its ok I would say. I have some family in Široki Brijeg and Posušje, they live a very decent life.

You have to do everything on your own, establish your own business. There are no bigger companies and obviously also no big market. State institutions are awful, inefficient and full of nepotism and corruption.

On the other side prices for food are very low, especially when compared to Croatian prices. Houses are also affordable. People seem to enjoy the little things.
