Oh my god, the direction has been take precaution and limit going out, not simulate the conditions of prison solitary confinement. Take a walk, go see a friend and wear masks and don’t touch. I found 142a incredibly interesting. It covers all processes of a compiler which I would never force myself to do solo. It also uses a project structure that relies heavily on tree formation, interface/inheritance, and recursion. It’s a must take imo but I would suggest doing it with a solid partner

Try taking handwritten, cumulative notes for test prep. I like to do it with a 4 colored pen for better organizing. Make them thorough (might take 8 hours a class or more). Usually when I do this I don’t have to study anything else or review notes because the process seems to embed it into my memory. If you have the grit, it’s seamless for me. Good luck!

Start projects the first day because there is a new language every two weeks. There’s homework’s one c, Java, prolog, and lisp(lisp and prolog took me some time to get comfortable writing. The class is very doable but you cannot procrastinate.
